Kurobe, an assistant inspector, is desperately searching for his missing daughter. One day, he encounters a mysterious old man. The old man produces a strange book— and the moment Kurobe touches it, he is sucked inside. When he awakens, he finds himself in another world, having taken on a completely different form. Thrown into an unfamiliar body in a foreign land, Kurobe must survive this new world while continuing his search— for the truth, for a way home, and for his daughter.
